Coastal Style launched their site and implemented all of the recommended Yahoo Store addons for better SEO: Text Navigation, Breadcrumbs, Meta Tags, etc. Still, after 2 years, Coastal-style.com was not ranking well for its primary keywords.

My Store Solutions worked with Coastal Style to sharpen their optimization and achieve page 1 ranking on Google for their target keywords.

The Solution
My Store Solutions consulted with Coastal Style in a multi-phased project to improve their search engine rankings. Coastal Style wanted to learn the SEO process and execute everything themselves. To this end, My Store Solutions began by analysing their site and their competition and developing a detailed game plan to achieve page 1 rankings.

After agreeing upon the game plan My Store Solutions made specific recommendations for changes to be made to navigation, content, titles and meta tags. After My Store Solutions made each recommendation, Coastal Style would implement it. After a few month of consulting, Coastal Style moved their Google ranking from page 9 to page 1 for their top priority keyword. In fact, they moved to page 1 for their top 7 keywords.
